The progression of time is important and developing yourself as a person is a big part of this.
One thing that I've realised this month is that so many of us seem to be rushing towards accomplishing an endless amount of things and achieving as many goals just before the year ends. It's understandable. But how much time have you given to yourself to be able to recuperate and recover from everything that's going on?
To be honest, I've had to ask myself that exact question. My answer is, definitely not enough. I guess there's just so much going on in terms of having to balance between school, responsibilities, other devotions and having an actual life on the side - if you think about it, you're still young and yet you've got the whole weight of the world on your shoulders (or feels that way at least). But it all depends on how you conduct and compose yourself for the future events yet to come too.
Time to open up: one thing that I've realised about myself is that I've continuously kept up with the grind, which is what I'm happy to be doing, but have never actually given myself that time to sit back and breathe for five minutes. As much as I want to keep pushing through and working my way up to where I need to be, it isn't the healthiest choice to do that at a continuous speed, 24/7, seven days a week. This is because it's driven me to have some self neglect and that really isn't needed - this can be the case for every person. I'll be honest: I've broken down in the sense that everything is becoming a handful and it is a real challenge to actually handle it all in one go. It's also hard to open up because everyone goes through this kind of thing. This has caused me to develop the need to take a pause and actually look into taking care of myself, to be able to get back up and face my personal capabilities with as much strength and positivity as possible. Thinking about it now, it is mentally draining and being able to balance is something that you will definitely benefit from.
As I say this, it is a common aspect shared by driven individuals (like you). The one major way to keeping going is through self love & self care. It is that simple.
Simplify it:
-You know it well enough that you are doing the best you can right now.
-Take your time - nobody else can rush what you're working on for your own purpose.
-Take the time - have an hour at the least or half the day spent doing things that you enjoy outside of your normal working agenda.
-Spend time with the people you love and care about - they're another reason to keep you eager and motivated but also to have them as your a source of positivity.
-Sleep.
-Reflect/Pray.
-Breathe.
-Speak out when you need to.
*Remember that time is everything and there is so much time left for you; find the time to give back to yourself for everything you've achieved so far.
In order for you to be the best: you need to be well to do well.
