It takes time, your time is all it is.

There simply is no rush.

It has felt like there should be, but there really isn’t.

I’ve felt isolated all this time about the past - thinking that there is a time limit.

There isn’t.

The time is in your hands and your hands only.

Grief.

Bereavement.

Sadness.

Depression.

They are all separate stages.

Broken.

Down.

And eventually,

Breaking.

You.

At the end of the (what feels like) lingering process,

You do heal.

But you never go back to how it was.

How you were.

How life was.

It’s a new start.

For you.

For significant others too.

You are scarred.

For life.

The wound is stuck on you.

On your skin.

Tarnished that part of your happiness.

The person you’ve lost is also stuck with you.

On your skin.

In spirit.

Forever.

Never ever forget that.

Continue with life.

With the presence of the one you love not being there,

In physical form.

It does get better,

As time goes by.

Knowing that they are safe.

They are happy.

They are healthy.

They are living life.

In a different universe to you.

The dimension is different.

But it works out in the end.

You are going through this for a good reason.

The reason: you are more than capable of facing this war.

The war with:

Grief.

Bereavement.

Depression.

Sadness.

You will come out stronger - being able to face the rest of the world for what it may throw at you.

It takes time.
